Emergency Planning Public Information and Awareness Campaign
The Office of Emergency Planning website details the Irish Government's plans for major emergencies. It has been developed by the Office of Emergency Planning to bring together current available information on Ireland's planning, response and management with regard to a wide range of emergencies.
EU information
- www.eumatters.ie is a Department of Foreign Affairs website which provides factual information about Ireland’s membership of the European Union.
- EUROPE DIRECT offers information on all sorts of subjects related to the EU including your rights and opportunities as an EU citizen and how to take advantage of them. It can provide direct responses to general enquiries and, if you have more detailed questions, signpost you to the best source of information and advice at EU, national, regional and local levels.
- EUROPA is the portal site of the European Union (http://europa.eu). It provides up-to-date coverage of European Union affairs and essential information on European integration. Users can also consult all legislation currently in force or under discussion, access the websites of each of the EU institutions and find out about the policies administered by the European Union under the powers devolved to it by the Treaties.
Social Inclusion and Integration Information
- Office for Social Inclusion. OSI is the Government office, located in the Department of Social and Family Affairs, with overall responsibility for developing, co-ordinating and driving the National Action Plan Against Poverty and Social Exclusion (NAP/Inclusion). This plan incorporates the National Anti-Poverty Strategy and the social inclusion commitments contained in Sustaining Progress.
- www.integration.ie is the website of the Office of the Minister for Integration. The Office has a cross-Departmental mandate to develop, drive and co-ordinate integration policy across other Government Departments, agencies and services. The Minister's functions include the promotion of the integration of legal immigrants into Irish society, the establishment of new structures for this purpose, the management of the resettlement of refugees admitted as part of the United Nations Resettlement Programme and the administration of funding from national and EU sources to promote integration.

- The Organisational Review Programme (ORP) is a Public Service Modernisation initiative managed by the Department of the Taoiseach. It is examining the capabilities of Government Departments in a number of key areas, focussing on their ability to deal effectively with future challenges.
